This Monday, February 17, the price of Bitcoin fell, although not as much as that of its main bifurcations.

While last week the prices of Bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies shone, today another picture dawns. Arriving at 6:00 am New York time, the price of the main crypto is USD $9,767.88, 2.07% less than yesterday at the same time. Despite the decline, the volume of transactions is high: USD $45 billion was traded between yesterday and today.

The largest exchange in volume transactions reported is ChainX in exchange with South Korean won. There is also (as always) enough exchange in the various exchanges with Tether and with US dollars.

It is worth noting that the decline began Sunday afternoon in the evening, with the largest daily decline in Bitcoin since November last year.

Not only Bitcoin, altcoins also fall

The main cryptocurrencies are also falling today. With respect to Sunday, Ethereum fell 8.28%, XRP 10.94%, Bitcoin Cash 14.95%, Bitcoin SV 16.92%, Litecoin 11.04%, EOS 11.40%, Tezos 10.78% and Cardano 12.36%, to name a few of the main ones.

The crypto ecosystem capitalization market fell to USD $277 billion, almost USD $20 billion less than yesterday and USD $30 billion less than its highest value of the week, which was last Friday, when it achieved a capitalization of USD $308 thousand million, the largest since July last year.

According to some analysts, the main reason for the fall is due to the same market adjustment, without any special news that has caused alarm.
